Summary of the play “Dear Pamela“

The play “Dear Pamela“ is a detective comedy written by an American playwright John Patrick. It is a beautiful, bright and touching story of an old lady – amazing Pamela (Gražina Balandytė). Pamela Kronki lives in a shabby house in a shantytown. Her only true friend is an old cat called Mister Tanner. Although Pamela is lonely and her life is not as easy as pie, she is an optimist and has a devoted belief in good. At first Pamela Kronki may look like an easy catch for gangsters but her gift helps her to change the world, to light up the hope and belief in people’s hearts.
