Ištrauka

Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into a natural environment that causes instability, disorder, harm or discomfort to the ecosystem i.e. physical systems or living organisms. Pollutants, the elements of pollution, can be foreign substances or energies, or naturally occurring; when naturally occurring, they are considered contaminants when they exceed natural levels. There are multiple types of pollution, with the most dangerous among them being air pollution, water pollution and radioactive contamination. Many people tend to talk more about the impact to our planet. However, in this essay, I am going to focus more on the harm to ourselves as we are part of nature.
