Ištrauka

Graham Greene (1904 – 1991) is known in recent years as an English novelist, short story writer, playwright and literary critic whose works explore the ambivalent moral and political issues of the contemporary world (Drabble 2000: p.431). Moreover, his works are having both humorous and serious content. Greene’s writing style was noted for the freedom that frequently appears in writings, his subject matter and intensity . As Margaret Drabble (2000: p.432) points out, this author’s works are interrelated with personal, religious and political dilemmas. These dilemmas are the foundation for Monsignor Quixote.
